The Hepworth Collection acquired the painting ‘Seagulls, Brian Sewell, Kicking etc‘, 1992, by Clyde Hopkins. Blackbird Rook opened its first physical exhibition in collaboration with The Good Ship Presents and the Yorkshire Art Space in Sheffield.

Through diverse media - painting, drawing, collage, sculpture, photography - 23 contemporary artists contemplate flesh, bones and psyche, revealing the strange and often uncomfortable truths of life.
Together, Werring’s sculptures, paintings, and monoprints form a cohesive exploration of duality and transformation.
